2014 CMA nominations announced

The nominations for the 48th Country Music Association awards are announced. Miranda Lambert receives nine nominations, tying her own record for the most nominations for a female artist in the 48 years of the award’s history. Five categories are announced on Good Morning America by Darius Drucker and Little Big Town, and the rest of the nominations are broadcast later in the morning at a press conference. The nominations for the top honor, Entertainer of the Year are: Lambert, Luke Bryan, Keith Urban, Blake Shelton and last year’s winner, George Strait. The 48th Annual CMA Awards will be hosted by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood  and will be broadcast on November 5, 2014 at 8:00 PM on NBC.
