East Dunbartonshire votes No by 48,214 to 30,624. Turnout is 91%.
East Renfrewshire votes No by 41,690 (63%) to 24,287 (37%).
Dumfries and Galloway votes No by 70,039 to 36,614. Turnout is 87.5%.
Aberdeen votes No by a significant margin: 84,095 (59%) to 59,390 (41%).
Angus votes No by 45,192 (56%) to 35,044 (44%). Turnout is 85.7%. The area is represented by a Scottish National Party Member of Parliament.
Falkirk votes No by 58,030 (53%) to 50,489 (47%). Turnout is 88.7%.
After the first 11 council areas declare, the overall total stands at No 53% and Yes 47%.
Stirling votes No by 37,153 (60%) to 25,010 (40%). Turnout is 90%.
East Lothian votes No by 44,283 (62%) to 27,467 (38%). Turnout is 88%.
Midlothian votes No by 33,972 (56%) to 26,370 (44%).
West Dunbartonshire votes Yes by 33,720 (54%) to 28,776 (46%). Turnout is 87.9%.
Renfrewshire votes No by 62,067 t0 55,466. Turnout is 87.3%.
Dundee votes in favour of independence by 53,620 (57%) to 39,840 (43%). Turnout is 78.8%.

After five declarations – the local authorities of Clackmannanshire, Orkney, Shetland, Eilean Siar and Inverclyde – the total stands at 55% for No to 45% for Yes.
Inverclyde votes No by a narrow margin of 27,329 to 27,243. Turnout is 87% in the fifth straight area that has declared for No.
Eilean Siar (formerly the Western Isles) votes No by 10,444 or 53% to 9,195, 47%. Turnout is 86%. The Yes campaign had previously expected to win the area.

Shetland votes No by 9,951 (64%) to 5,669 (36%). Turnout is 84%.
Voter turnout is reported at 86% in West Lothian and 87% in Midlothian.
