It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness we express our deepest condolences to the families of Alison Parker and Adam Ward. We are praying for the recovery of Vicki Gardner. Our thoughts and prayers at this time are with the victims’ families and the WDBJ television station family….Words cannot express the hurt that we feel for the victims. Our family is asking that the media respect our privacy…It’s a shock to everyone.
Each one of these families is in crisis right now. Each one has suffered an unimaginable loss. Prayers for all of them.

I respect Flanagan’s family extending their empathy and condolences but they are not responsible for this man’s deterioration into madness just as the sister of the Charleston killer is not responsible for his.

It was good to see his family express their sorrow for the senseless loss of two people. In a sense they are suffering as well because like all of us they didn’t see this one coming at all. Again condolences to the families of Parker and Ward and also to the third victim as well.
I applaud this family for making a statement, having just lost a family member themselves (in spite of the circumstances).
