Undergoes surgery
Ford undergoes surgery to repair a broken pelvis and ankle following his plane crash. Ford’s spokeswoman, Ina Treciokas:

$4M pay cut
Manning agrees to a new $15 million contract with the Broncos which cuts his salary by $4 million. The contract also requires Manning to pass a physical.

Winfrey is closing Harpo Sudios in Chicago. All company business is transitioning into the OWN headquarters in Los Angeles.

The time had come to downsize this part of the business and to move forward. Charmayne Maxwell dies age 46
