Says Dickinson, Johnson are lying

Makes Statement0 Comments

Vela claims that Cosby never tried to rape her former colleagues Dickinson and Johnson, posting to Facebook:

Them’s fibs, cuz. I was there when both talked on the phone to [various men]. Pretty saucy too…I think they’ll never pass through St. Peter’s Gates with their lips! They need to own up to the truth.

Rescinds honorary degree

Makes Statement0 Comments

In a letter to students, alumni and staff, the university announces that the University Board of Trustees voted unanimously in favor on President McShae’s motion to revoke the honorary degree the university awarded Cosby in 2001.

The University has taken this extraordinary step in light of Mr. Cosby’s now-public court depositions that confirm many of the allegations made against him by numerous women…Fordham has never before rescinded an honorary degree. A recipient’s actions would have to be both unambiguously dishonorable and have a deep impact. By his own admission, Mr. Cosby’s sexual exploitation of women was premeditated and ongoing. Equally appalling is his longtime strategy of denigrating the reputations of women who accused him of such actions…That Mr. Cosby was willing to drug and rape women for his sexual gratification, and further damage those same women’s reputations and careers to obscure his guilt, hurt not only his victims, but all women, and is beyond the pale.

Cosby producer breaks silence

Makes Statement0 Comments

Werner speaks about Cosby and his legacy:

The legacy of the show is obviously very important to me because the show was a groundbreaking show and it portrayed a middle-class African-American family in a very positive way. It had a lot of stories that resonated with families because people watched it together. Obviously it’s a challenging time for Bill Cosby and a challenging time for the show, but I’m hoping that people will still be able to watch the show and identify with the Huxtables.

Obtained Quaaludes from gynecologist

Makes Statement0 Comments

In the Constand depositions, Cosby admits his Quaalude prescriptions were written by Los Angeles gynecologist and cosmetic surgeon, Leroy Amar.

Attorney: Did he know when he gave you those prescriptions that you had no intention of taking them?

Cosby: Yes. (It is not clear from the deposition how the doctor would have known that)

Attorney: Did you believe at the time that it was illegal for you to dispense those drugs?

Cosby: Yes.

While Cosby admits that he acquired seven prescriptions of Quaaludes with the intent to give the sedatives to young women he wanted to have sex with, he does not admit to actually drugging any women.

Walker surprised by allegations

Makes Statement0 Comments

Walker expresses surprise that Cosby drugged women:

I actually thought that everybody knew about all these women… The thing that shocks me the most is the drugging because the times that I’ve worked with Cosby … [I witnessed] nothing with the drug thing. But the women, I knew about that.

He also says:

I love Bill Cosby. The thing that upsets me the most is that we’re never going to see his work again because he’s gone forever and ever, and it’s unfortunate.

More details revealed

Makes Statement0 Comments

Further details of Cosby’s four-day questioning for the Constand case deposition reveal Cosby describing how he seduced a young model by showing interest in her father’s cancer and promising women mentorship and career advice before pushing them for sex. He also acknowledges he paid off women to keep his wife, Camille, from finding out about his philandering. At one point, he is rebuked by the plaintiff’s attorney for his jocular attitude.

Lawyer: I think you’re making light of a very serious situation.

Cosby: That may very well be.

Victim’s attorney, Allred:

Cosby’s testimony demonstrates how deceptive, manipulative and disgusting (he is). It is no wonder that he fought to keep this deposition, which reveals his revolting predatory conduct, hidden from public view. But the truth is out now and it will never be hidden again.

Changes Cosby stance

Makes Statement0 Comments

In a conversation with ABC News chief legal analyst Abrams, Goldberg says:

If this is to be tried in the court of public opinion, I got to say all of the information that’s out there kind of points to guilt.

Goldberg recently said she had received threats for staunchly standing by Cosby and joins Abrams in encouraging viewers to contact their legislators to have statute of limitation laws changed for rape cases. She also has a direct message for Cosby:

It looks bad, Bill. Either speak up or shut up.

Source: Camille says accusers consented to drugs and sex

Makes Statement0 Comments

According to sources, Cosby’s wife knows her husband is a serial philanderer, but believes his scores of accusers consented to drugs and sex. Source:

Camille still doesn’t believe that Bill provided drugs and had sex with women without their consent. She’s well aware of his cheating, but she doesn’t believe that her husband is a rapist. I created him, I knew what I was getting.

Camille remains on Bill’s side, despite his constant cheating. A source says Camille says:

You have to allow for space to let your partner do what he wants. I have done that and [Bill] has done that and there’s no jealousy, no friction.

Defends Cosby

Makes Statement4 Comments

Goldberg defends Cosby on The View, compared Cosby’s case to the boys of the Duke lacrosse team:

Here’s the deal: This is The View and that was my opinion. Not any of you threatening me or telling me you’re coming after me because you don’t like what I said is going to change the fact that no one has convicted him, he has not been arrested, and the bottomline is that’s the law–innocent, until proven guilty…We all have a very important role to play when it comes to abuse and rape. If it’s true the person has to be taken to nth degree of the world and punished; no one here thinks rape is good, no one here thinks rapists are fun… so don’t come after me like that because I’m sick of this bull.

‘Validated’ by Cosby’s testimony

Makes Statement3 Comments

Dickinson says she feels “vindicated” by the release of Cosby’s testimony.

It shows that he and all his people knew all along that we were telling the truth. [But] I want an admission of guilt. This is not over until we get a fair judge and jury and he can go under oath and stand on trial under oath for what he did to me. He and his accomplices should have to pay for what they did.

I personally have spoken to a few women who are too embarrassed and scared to come forward. I’ve seen the pain in their eyes. I just want the other women to know that [speaking out] is painful. But it’s the right thing to do for the healing process, which I beg to God will start to kick in on my end. It hasn’t so far.

Addresses allegations

Makes Statement1 Comments

Knight Pulliam addresses recent sexual assault allegations against Cosby in an interview on Today.

What I can say is this: I wasn’t there. No one was there except for the two people who know exactly what happened. All I can speak to is the man that I know and love. The fact that he’s been such an example, you can’t take away from the great that he has done. You know, the amount…the millions and millions of dollars that he has given back to colleges and education, and just what he did with The Cosby Show and how groundbreaking that was. Ultimately, they’re just that, allegations. You know, it’s very much been played out in the court of public opinion. But we’re still in America, where ultimately you’re innocent until proven guilty. I wasn’t there. That’s just not the man I know. So I can’t speak to it.

Defends husband

Makes Statement0 Comments

Wife, Camille speaks out and defends Cosby’s rape allegations calling him a victim:

I met my husband, Bill Cosby, in 1963, and we were married in 1964. The man I met, and fell in love with, and whom I continue to love, is the man you all knew through his work. He is a kind man, a generous man, a funny man, and a wonderful husband, father and friend. He is the man you thought you knew.

A different man has been portrayed in the media over the last two months. It is the portrait of a man I do not know. It is also a portrait painted by individuals and organizations whom many in the media have given a pass. There appears to be no vetting of my husband’s accusers before stories are published or aired. An accusation is published, and immediately goes viral.

We all followed the story of the article in the “Rolling Stone” concerning allegations of rape at the University of Virginia. The story was heart-breaking, but ultimately appears to be proved to be untrue. Many in the media were quick to link that story to stories about my husband – until that story unwound.

None of us will ever want to be in the position of attacking a victim. But the question should be asked – who is the victim?

‘The mere thought of these allegations is truly saddening’

Makes Statement0 Comments

Hefner releases a statement regarding Huth’s allegations that Cosby sexually assaulted her when she was 15 years old at the Playboy mansion.

Bill Cosby has been a good friend for many years and the mere thought of these allegations is truly saddening. I would never tolerate this kind of behavior, regardless of who was involved.

‘None of this seems fair’

Makes Statement0 Comments

Green tells TMZ that people who assume Cosby is guilty are being unfair.

He hasn’t said anything. Which is also to some an admission of guilt, as well. It just doesn’t seem fair any way you slice it. You can’t defend yourself in that capacity. You just have to let facts be facts and so on and so forth. The facts have to speak the loudest. With that being said, none of this seems fair. But of course, for any victim in the situation it’s highly unfair. It’s not for me to judge him. I definitely can’t judge him. It’s just unfortunate because he’s so beloved to so many.

‘It’s an unfortunate scenario.’

Makes Statement0 Comments

Cedric the Entertainer comments on the recent allegations against Cosby while on the red carpet at the New York premiere of Chris Rock’s upcoming comedy Top Five.

“[Cosby] is one of those legendary comedians. We all grew up on him, and we know and respect him, not just as a comedian, but for the things that he’s done outside of comedy, with the colleges and giving back [to the community], and spending his money where his mouth is. But if the allegations have any truth to them, you want the truth to come out. You want justification for all the people. That’s all you can really say. It’s an unfortunate scenario.

‘His behaviour was like that of a predator’

Makes Statement0 Comments

During a press conference in Los Angeles, led by attorney Gloria Allred, Hayes says Cosby exhibited behavior ‘like that of a predator’ when she met Cosby at Clint Eastwood’s Celebrity Tennis Tournament in Pebble Beach, California in 1973. Hayes claims Cosby stalked her and her two friends, eventually grabbing Hayes’ breast.

Bill found us again on Saturday night even though we had changed restaurants several times to avoid him. At first, we thought it was all right because it was day time, and because it was Bill Cosby. We felt we were safe. But then when he found us in the last restaurant, he approached me from behind and reached over my shoulder and grabbed my right breast. I was stunned, and angry, because he had no right to do that. And I didn’t know why he would behave that way. His behavior was like that of a predator.
