Tidal in association with Roc Nation announces $1.5 billion in funds from a previous charity concert will be donated to Black Lives Matter. Roc Nation says the team will support a different initiative each year.

The process of acquiring recommendations [for nonprofits] was collaborative and inspired by the message that speaks to racial and social inequities and injustice in our society.

After Southall starts shouting “Black lives Matter” during Trump’s speech in Birmingham, AL, a fight breaks out around the protestor. A man punches and attempted to choke him, and Southall ends up on the ground. Trump halts the rally while Southall is taken out of the building.

Dunkin Donuts BlackLivesMatterA police officer buying a coffee at a Rhode Island Dunkin’ Donuts says that the employee serving him seemed “somewhat rude and appeared as though they did not want to serve the officer.” He later discovers that the employee had written “#blacklivesmatter” on the cup. Police union:

The negativity displayed by the #Blacklivesmatter organization towards police across this nation is creating a hostile environment that is not resolving any problems or issues, but making it worse for our communities. They are doing this by increasing tensions amongst police and the people they serve.

The franchise owner has apologized to the police officer on behalf of Dunkin’ Donuts, and he has counseled the employee about her behavior.
