Protesters stage kiss-in
Arcópoli, a Madrid-based LGBT rights group, organizes a group of protesters for a kiss-in at a Burger King in Spain after a same-sex couple was reported to be kicked out of the restaurant. Arcópoli spokeswoman Amanda Rodríguez:
This type of behavior is unacceptable in our city and we hope that the ‘Burger King’ chain will take sufficiently forceful measures to make sure it doesn’t happen again.
Though a Burger King spokesperson was not available for comment, Arcópoli received a statement from the company.
