Taken off life support

The judge in Kasem’s conservatorship case reverses a ruling which required doctors to keep him alive with nourishment and medicines. Kasem’s children tell TMZ that their fathers’s health directive document states:

If the extension of my life would result in mere biological existence, devoid of cognitive function, with no reasonable hope for normal functioning, then I do not desire any form of life-sustaining procedures, including nutrition and hydration.

Jean Kasem said outside the court:

The judge decided to kill my husband today. The United States of America, the court system, this judge, the attorney, Kerri Kasem, and her hired liars decide to kill my husband today. They all have blood on their hands.

She also says that there was nothing wrong with Kasem until his daughter picked him up on June 1, and criticizes Califonia’s probate laws.
