Angela Corey is an American attorney born in 1954 in Jacksonville, Florida. She is the State Attorney in Florida’s Fourth Judicial Circuit Court. Corey became the first woman to earn the position in 2008. She was the State Attorney in the Trayvon Martin shooting death case. Corey has attained awards such as the Criminal Justice Distinguished Award and the Judicial Victim Advocate Award.
