Bill Irwin is an American actor and comedian born in 1950 in Santa Monica, California. He is noted for his vaudeville performances on stage as well as his influence on the circus in the United States. Irwin won a Tony Award for his Broadway performance in Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf. He has also appeared in shows such as Sesame Street, Saturday Night Live, The Cosby Show, Lights Out, Law & Order, and 3rd Rock from the Sun. Irwin is married to Martha Roth and they have one son.
