Clifford Etienne is a former American boxer born in 1970 in Lafayette, Louisiana. He began boxing while in prison for a 40 year sentence due to armed robbery. Etienne earned the state prison boxing championship and accumulated a 30-0 record. After 10 years of being locked up, he was released because of good behavior. Etienne turned professional in 1998 and accumulated 29 wins, four losses and two draws. Some of his most notable fights were against Mike Tyson, Lamon Brewster, Nicolay Valeuv and Lawrence Clay Bey. In 2005, he received a 150 year prison sentence for armed robbery, carjacking, and pulling a gum on two police officers
