Darren Aronofsky

Darren Aronofsky is an American director and producer born in 1969 in Brooklyn, New York. He became well known for his dark and violent material. He has directed films such as Pi, Requiem for a Dream, The Fountain, The Wrestler, Noah and Black Swan. Some of the accolades he has won include numerous Independent Spirit Awards, a Golden Lion Award, Scream Award, and San Francisco Film Critics Circle Award. Aronofsky previously dated actress Rachel Weisz and they have one child.
