Gerard Butler

Gerard Butler is a Scottish actor most notable for his role as King Leonidas in the epic war film 300. He studied law at the University of Glasgow where he was president of the University Law Society. Shortly after graduation however, Butler decided to pursue a career in acting which landed him small television roles on Attila. He garnered critical acclaim for his role as the Phantom in Joel Schumacher’s The Phantom of the Opera, and shortly after, appeared in the films P.S. I Love You, RocknRolla, The Ugly Truth, and Gamer. He remains single and has no children.
