Jake Gyllenhaal is an American actor born in 1980 in Los Angeles, California. He is the son of screenwriter Naomi Foner and director Stephen Gyllenhaal. Some of the popular movies he has appeared in include October Sky, Donnie Darko, The Day After Tomorrow, Brokeback Mountain, The Good Girl, and Source Code. Gyllenhaal has earned honors such as two MTV Movie Awards, a Hollywood Film Festival Award, a BAFTA Award, and a Young Hollywood Award. He has formerly dated actresses Kirstin Dunst and Resse Witherspoon as well as singer Taylor Swift.
