Jeremy Renner is an American actor and musician. Born in 1971 in Modesto, California, he gained recognition early in his career for his performance in Dahmer and S.W.A.T. He is best known for his roles in The Hurt Locker, Bourne Legacy, and as Hawkeye in the Marvel film, The Avengers. In 2010, he was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in The Town.
