Apologizes for Instagram rant
Brown apologizes to Karrueche for his Instagram rant with an additional post on Instagram.
Being young and dumb is one of my strong suits and emotional at best. I love hard and react impulsively when I’m hurt at times. I don’t think social media is a place to air out or hash out personal problems and a n*** feel hella WACK for doing it. So I AM APOLOGIZING I live in a glass house and the same s**t that makes me great also is my curse. Everybody know I love that girl. I don’t care how my image my look to the public because I’m still gonna be the best at what I do. I just want baby girl to know I apologize!
Instagram rant
Brown responds to Karrueche’s post on Instagram following their break up with an Instagram post of his own, claiming she dated Drake while he was in jail.
We’ve got scars, some of them u gave me, some of them I’ve caused. That ride or die act we have been fooling the world with obviously ain’t working. I was locked up for damn near 4 months and only got 1 visit from you while u was hosting parties and taking secret trips to Toronto, going on dates with Drake! When this relationship first started u knew what it was and even participated in threesomes. I slowed all that shit down. So let’s not try to save face for public opinion because I don’t need to play victim so people can take my side. All these celebrity n—as ain’t s–t and focus only on themselves. I made it clear to the world who my girl was and made your life equal to mine even at the cost of me not focusing on my career at times. So miss me wit the bulls–t. No y’all know the real.
Brown, Karrueche split
Brown and girlfriend Karrueche end their relationship. Karrueche posts on Instagram:
When something bad happens, you can either let it define you, let it destroy you or let it strengthen you. The choice is yours. I refuse to be repeatedly mistreated especially by someone who claims to love me. That’s not love. Yes, I have not been so smart before in the past but I made a promise to be a better and stronger woman and I’m keeping that promise. If you can’t love me the right way, then don’t love me at all. Don’t be mad at me because I prefer to be happy.

Chris Brown interview
Fox News interviews Brown about his jail time and how it changed his life.
Sometimes you’ve got to touch the stove to see that it’s hot. And I’m one of those guys that does that all of the time. Sometimes I might be my own worst enemy. I’m not always going to make the right decision. I’ve always reneged on a lot of my situations. But I think that’s a part of growing up and learning. For me, now I have a better sense of what’s important being that I was incarcerated, being that I’ve had the bad stuff happen to me. You can’t continuously mess up. You’re not going to get that many chances. I’m not saying by my peers, but I’m just saying by God in general. For me and my spirit, I just want to be able to have some peace, be able to chill and do what I love because I was blessed with this opportunity and this talent, so I don’t want to waste it.
Chris Brown interview
Seacrest interviews Brown during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about his new public image.
For me I had a lot of issues with my anger, a lot of issues with not knowing how to cope with certain situations, public scrutiny, the whole nine. But I think over time me being able to talk a therapist, and finding out how to deal with even my stint, and the whole rehab thing and jail made me have a different outlook on life and really focus on a more positive scale of what I needed to be doing. So I think with my music and everything else, it always was on a positive front, you know, happier level. But I just wanted to make sure that now it’s more me walking the walk instead of talking the talk. The time that I did spend in there was all-the-way reflection time. You know, being able to look in the mirror at myself and kind of just understand myself, but also love myself. Cause you know, a lot of insecurities come with being an artist and also dealing with your own issues. Especially when you almost have to do it alone. Everybody’s situation is different, but at one point I just felt like I was alone. So being able to realize that I have people who love me and support me and the right people that want to see me succeed, and you know, just my life in general, the mistakes I had made. I had a lot of time to reflect on that and really focus on moving forward and trying to change the perception of myself.
