For a Few Dollars More

Originally released in 1965 as Per qualche dollaro in più in Italy, this spaghetti western directed by Sergio Leone is the second in the Man with No Name, or Dollars trilogy.  Eastwood plays Monco, a Civil War veteran and bounty hunter who rides into a western town looking for a bounty, El Indio.  But his plans are sent awry when he discovers that his rival, Col. Douglas Mortimer, is in town looking for him too – at least until the two come to an agreement that seals Indio’s fate. Also starring Lee Van Cleef and Gian Maria Volonté. Eastwood says Sergio Leone likes him for his two faces:

one with the hat, one without it.
