WWE.com interview

Bryan talks to WWE.com about Sting’s debut in WWE at Survivor Series.

I have been a fan of wrestling for a very very long time. I love wrestling. And its weird crossing worlds where Sting is in the WWE in a WWE ring. It just gets you excited. It’s something that everyone can feel through the screen.

BetweenTheRopes interview

Interview0 Comments

Bryan speaks to BetweenTheRopes.com to discuss how long a second surgery would keep him out of action in the WWE.

I was scheduled for surgery on Tuesday, but then they called me last week and said they want to do more testing before they do the surgery, which is good in one sense. I don’t want to do the surgery if I don’t need it, but likewise if I do need it let’s get it done as soon as possible because that’s going to be a big three months.

IGN interview

Interview0 Comments

Bryan sits down with IGN to discuss the most recent story-line surrounding his wife in which he’s accused of cheating on her with his physical therapist.

Yeah, to me, it’s groan-worthy. I don’t think it added anything to the story. It was just like, “Ugh!” But, you know, they do what they do, and you just gotta roll with the punches. It’s funny, because I feel like sometimes you just have to overcome these things more so than anything else. Like, Brie and Stephanie have to overcome that flaw. To me, that was a flaw in the story.

Daniel Bryan talks with IGN about his future in-ring return and the injury keeping him out of action.

I was supposed to have a second surgery scheduled for Tuesday, but they postponed it to do some more testing — and this has been the frustrating part for me. The nervous system is very complex. So there’s been debate about, ‘Okay, does he need a second surgery? Does he not need a second surgery?’ And people have kind of been going back and forth on it. Then finally we decided, ‘Okay, he needs the surgery.’

Comic Book Resources interview

Interview0 Comments

Bryan speaks to Comic Book Resources to discuss his WWE return and the newest stars coming to WWE.

I’m really excited, really excited. People’s eyes are going to be opened with KENTA. He just brings a different style that we’ve never seen in the WWE before. Tajiri threw a lot of kicks, but they weren’t as intense as KENTA’s.

WWE.com interview

Bryan talks to WWE.com about WWE signing Kenta and why he is excited over the new talent.

It’s excellent. They’re signing an international guy who has the reputation for being the best. Kenta is one of the best guys I’ve ever been in the ring with. Some of the best matches I’ve ever had have been against Kenta. He’s going to make everybody step up their game.

Talk is Jericho interview

Interview0 Comments

Bryan appears on Talk is Jericho to discuss his 2010 firing from WWE, Wrestlemania 30 and self-made stars in WWE.

Look at Zack Ryder. He didn’t have anyone telling him what to do and he has his own hit Youtube show. He pretty much made it on his own.

TheClassical.org interview

Interview0 Comments

Bryan speaks to TheClassical.org about MMA, Brie Bella and wrestling.

Okay, so there’s a lot of things that wrestling can take from MMA. One of the things that MMA does very, very well—and boxing does this, too—is creating personality profiles leading up to big fights, like the 24/7 stuff and the UFC Countdownspecials—promoting people as personalities and how they’re training and how important this particular fight is for these fighters.

Miami Herald interview

Bryan talks to The Miami Herald about Total Divas and Brie Bella.

As of now, I don’t know where it’s at because the audiences are so different, but I would like to think it’s (Total Divas) going to bring more female fans to WWE to watch the divas because the divas are really good at what they do. So I’m hoping that cross-section starts coming over. That would be great.

The Temple News interview

Interview0 Comments

Bryan talks to The Temple  News about his recent success in WWE and Nigel McGuiness.

When I go to Target and see my own action figure, it makes me feel stupid because I’m not doing anything different than I was before. It’s just that I’m on TV … I’ve wrestled in front of less people than this in a room smaller than this and when I walked out, instead of people chanting ‘yes,’ they just stared at me in apathy,

Bryan is a guest on The Art of Wrestling to discuss WWE, wrestling all over the world and his signature beard.

It started off as…. I just hate shaving. I don’t know what’s worse… shaving my beard or trimming my beard. So I just let it go and it became like a thing.

WWE.com interview

Interview0 Comments

Bryan talks to WWE.com about the independent wrestling scene and wrestling Chris Jericho.

I was super excited to be in the ring with Jericho, because he was one of my favorites when I was in high school. He came into WCW probably 1996, 97ish and he was the guy on TV who was never given that great opportunity to be with the main-eventers, but he was always the most entertaining guy on the show. It was awesome, and then his ring-work of course is impeccable. He was one of the first guys who showed, him and Eddie both, were some of the first guys that showed that smaller guys can not only be great in the ring but charismatic on the microphone as well.
