Keaton plays Sybil Stone, matriarch of the Stone family, in this dramedy directed by Thomas Bezucha. When the favorite son brings his uptight, corporate girlfriend home for the holidays, the Stones disapprove and conspire to make her feel unwelcome amid their free-spirited ways. It’s about love and loss and family and new love and babies. Then also having to say goodbye to someone that you adore, which is something that is part of all our lives. For me that is extremely touching, extremely worthy of investigation for all of us. Extremely sweet, funny and a great holiday idea.
