Echosmith appears on the cover of the December 2014 issue of NKD magazine. The members of the band talk about their music and reaching their fans. Sydney from the band says:

We’re a younger band but we don’t necessarily play music for younger kids. We just try to make the music we want to make. We’re happy to have that differentiation about our band. You can tell our music is different whether you like it or not.
