Clarke appears as Daenerys Targaryen in the the sixth episode of season four, The Laws of Gods and Men. In the city of Meereen on the continent of Essos, Daenerys struggles to learn the art of administration. She is forced to repay a peasant whose goat has been killed by her dragon, and realizes the consequences of her decision to crucify the city’s former slavemasters in retribution for their own crucifixion of slaves.
