Chasing Mavericks

Butler plays Frosty Hesson in the biographical drama, Chasing Mavericks. The film tells the real life story of Jay Moriarity and his dream of surfing the biggest wave of his life. At the young age of 15, Moriarity discovers that the infamous Mavericks surf break is just minutes away from where he lives, so he asks local surf legend Hesson to help him conquer his dream. Co-starring Jonny Weston.
