The Game of Their Lives

Butler plays Frank Borghi in this sports drama directed by David Anspaugh. The film tells the real life story of the 1950 U.S. soccer team that beat England 1-0 in the World Cup. Against all odds, this team of underdogs from St. Louis Missouri played and won the game of their lives in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Co-starring Wes Bentley and Gavin Rossdale.

We went down to Rio de Janeiro in a soccer stadium there with thousands of extras and played this game against the English – who were, funnily enough, mostly Brazilians – but it’s great.
