Sends incorrect tax forms
0 CommentsAbout 800,000 people, who use Healthcare.gov, receive tax forms with incorrect information about their healthcare coverage. The errors occur on a new form that helps ACA enrollees determine whether or not they qualify for a subsidy and it aids them in figuring out the size of that subsidy. Because of the errors, some taxpayers could claim too large of a subsidy while others could claim less than they’re actually eligible for.
