Gyllenhaal gives interview to Elle about how he got Ann Hathaway to act in Love and Other Drugs.

I lured her to do the movie by telling her that [Brokeback] wasn’t our love story, this one should be. We’re going to learn the hard, dirty, rough parts of ourselves and share them at the same time.
