Scholars doubt Gospel real

The authenticity of King’s discovery is questioned, compared to the Jesus tomb hoax, and summarily dismissed by some scholars, but others are more vocal. University of Muenster Coptology professor Stephen Emmel and papyrologist Alin Suciu of the University of Hamburg are openly calling the papyrus a fraud. As is University Campus Suffolk archaeological heritage professor David Gill, he warns,

There are all sorts of really dodgy things about this… looks to me as if any sensible, responsible academic would keep their distance from it.
