A medical examiner in Virginia rules Brady’s death a homicide. It had been determined that his demise was directly related to injuries he sustained when he was shot by John Hinckley, during the attempted assassination of President Ronald Reagan in 1981. The shooting left him paralyzed for the rest of his life.
