Telegraph interview

Interview0 Comments

Kane talks to The Telegraph about new up-and-coming stars in the WWE.

I think the upcoming talent is great. For awhile I was very worried about the future of WWE because I worried about where the stars would come from. But WWE has done a fabulous job in partnering with Full Sail University, for WWE’s training facility. Some of the guys are second and third generations, but the thing about WWE’s training, is they learn our system before going on the roster, it’s more seamless. WWE’s future is bright.

The Rack radio interview

Interview0 Comments

Kane sits down with The Rack radio show to discuss acting and his favorite Hell in a Cell moment.

Well, my favorite would have to be, of course, my debut and ripping the door off and going in and giving a tombstone piledriver to The Undertaker and having Vince (McMahon) screaming ‘That’s gotta be Kane!’; that would far and away have to be my favorite moment.

Alternativenation.net interview

Interview0 Comments

Kane talks to Alternativenation.net about Sting coming to WWE and Triple H’s leadership.

He’s done a tremendous job with the Performance Center in Orlando, and with NXT. They have a great product, the guys that are coming out of there are really great. I was just thinking about that the other day, you could always tell there was something special about him. Certainly he knows the wrestling business like no one else, he’s got a fabulous mind. When you’re talking about people I’ve worked with who have influenced me as far as character development, he’s one of them. I don’t know which is more surprising, the fact that he’s in the role that he’s in, or that I’m still here in WWE 20 years later.

KISS-FM interview

Kane talks to KISS-FM radio about Team Hell No and locker room jealousy over The Rock and Brock Lesnar.

When the Rock comes back, that takes to a completely different level. The interest he generates is mainstream. It’s beneficial, more so than anyone else can do, frankly. Any petty jealousies that there might be need to be set aside, because we all benefit. It’s like when people say I don’t like so and so because they’re in the top spot, and I’m like well I do like them because I get to work with them and make more money.

WWE Games interview

Bearer talks about managing The Undertaker and Kane in WWE:

They are such great performers, such great athletes. Such great men, gentlemen in general. I am truly humbled that I have been allowed to be associated with them for all these years,” Bearer said. “When me and Taker first started, his first WrestleMania was my first WrestleMania, so we’ve really been together all that time. I get asked, would you have thought then, that he’d be still going in 2012? Hell no, I wouldn’t then and I’m sure that he wouldn’t have either. In the early years, me and Taker were together so much, I mean all the time. We had a very special relationship and a very special bond.

Superstar to superstar interview

Englund talks to Kane on WWE.com’s Superstar to Superstar series about horror films, working in masks and his obsession with fire.

I love fire. Fire is hypnotic. And you’ve had this experience, too. When you’re on a sound stage and you’re shooting a fire stunt, this weird thing happens where the fire eats up all the oxygen and everybody gets a little dingy. And you know, the stuntmen, those guys know how to count, but when you’re an actor and you can set your arm on fire, you feel kind of magical. And I always forget to count. I’ve singed my eyebrows
