Harington appears as Jon Snow in the fifth episode of the fourth season of Game of Thrones, First of His Name. Burn Gorman plays Karl, the leader of a band of Night’s Watch mutineers. North of the Wall of Westeros, Jon leads a Night’s Watch ranging party to stamp out the mutiny. He confronts Karl, who initially gains the upper hand due to his street-fighting ability. A wildling woman captured by the mutineers intervenes, and Jon is able to kill Karl. During the fighting Jon’s direwolf, Snow, is freed from captivity and kills the last Night’s Watch rebel. With the mutiny crushed, Jon is reunited with Snow.
