Harington appears as Jon Snow in the tenth episode of the third season of Game of Thrones, Mhysa. Rose Leslie plays Ygritte, a young female wildling warrior in the army of Mance Rayder, the King-Beyond-the-Wall. After escaping the wildling war party on horseback, Jon stops to rest and tend his injuries. He is confronted by Ygritte, who has followed him. She accuses him of betraying her. Jon replies that he still has feelings for her but that he remains loyal to the Night’s Watch. As Jon rides away, Ygritte shoots him with three arrows, severely wounding him. Jon reaches Castle Black in a critical condition.
