Oathkeeper

Harington appears as Jon Snow in the fourth episode of the fourth season of Game of Thrones, Oathkeeper. Owen Teale plays Ser Alliser Thorne, the Master-at-Arms of the Night’s Watch. At Castle Black, Jon trains recruits in preparation for the impending attack by King-Beyond-the-Wall Mance Rayder’s wildling army. Suspecting that Jon will be chosen ahead of him when the Night’s Watch votes to appoint its new leader following the death of Lord Commander Jeor Mormont, Ser Alliser agrees to a plan by Jon to range north of the Wall of Westeros and stamp out a mutiny by renegade Night’s Watchmen. In a plan to ensure Jon’s mission will be fatal, he says no men will be ordered to go. Jon makes an impassioned speech urging the Night’s Watchmen to avenge Jeor, and many of them volunteer to join him.
