Valar Morghulis

Harington appears as Jon Snow in the tenth episode of the second season of Game of Thrones, Valar Morghulis. Simon Armstrong plays Qhorin Halfhand, the leader of a scouting party of Night’s Watch rangers. In the Frostfang mountains north of the Wall of Westeros, Qhorin and Jon are led as captives towards the army encampment of Mance Rayder, the King-Beyond-the-Wall. In a scheme to establish Jon inside Mance’s army as an informant for the Night’s Watch, Qhorin secretly instructs Jon that he must kill Qorin. He seizes a sword and attacks Jon. As they duel, he allows Jon to kill him. Having gained the trust of the wildlings, Jon is released from his restraints, and told that he will be taken to meet Mance.
