The Guardian interviews Thomas about her role as John Lennon’s Aunt Mimi in the film Nowhere Boy. 

She got a bad rap, really. People say she was mean, so you think, I want to show a person underneath that. Because she did have an abrasive nature, but there’s so much love in that woman.
