Lena Headey is born in Hamilton, Bermuda, to police officer John and Sue, nee Brown. The family return to England when she is six, living in Somerset and Yorkshire. Her brother, Tim, is born in 1980. She attends Shelley College and appears in a school theater production at the age of 17.
