Linda McMahon is an American businesswoman, born in New Bern, North Carolina, in 1948. She developed WWE with her husband Vince McMahon from 1980 to 2009, growing it from a small regional business in New York to a large multinational. She has stood for election unsuccessfully as a candidate for the Republican party. She was nominated to head the SBA by Donald Trump in December 2016.

Trump nominates WWE co-founder McMahon to run the Small Business Administration. Trump said McMahon had helped the WWE grow from a 13-person operation to a publicly traded global enterprise with more than 800 employees worldwide. Trump:
