Prima is honored posthumously with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame under the category of Recording. There to accept the award on his behalf are his children Louis Prima Jr. and Lena Prima.
Getting him this star took 20 years, and a little bit of luck. It’s going to finally recognize what he gave with his career. He gave the world a smile.
