The Rains of Castamere

Williams appears as Arya Stark in the ninth episode of the third season of Game of Thrones, The Rains of Castamere. Rory McCann plays Sandor Clegane, a former Lannister loyalist and desrter from the kingsguard. Arya and the Hound arrive at the Twins, the stronghold of the House of Frey, who have pledged allegiance to the Starks. The Hound plans to ransom Arya to her brother, Robb Stark. As they arrive, they are turned away by the guards. Arya evades the Hound in order to investigate what is happening inside the castle. She witnesses the slaughter of Robb’s direwolf by Frey soldiers, and senses that his former allies have turned on him. She runs towards the castle, but is stopped by the Hound who says that it is too late to help her brother and knocks her unconscious before carrying her to safety.
