Official: No engine data sent after contact Lost

An anonymous US official says no data about the status of the missing plane’s engines was transmitted after contact was lost and says investigators are trying to determine if the plane did indeed fly on for four hours or more after contact was lost. Engine information was sent via a digital datalink before contact was lost, he says, but not afterwards.
