Commits suicde

Madoff commits suicide by hanging himself. He struggled to re-enter the world of finance, after his father’s Ponzi scheme was made public. Madoff hangs himself while his two year old son sleeps in the other room. Before committing suicide, he sends his wife an email, to have someone come and take care of their son.

Mark was in a really dark place, and he just saw no way out. The whole world believed he did these monstrous things, and he thought his family would be better off without him.
