Wahlberg plays Bobby Mercer, who along with his three brothers seek revenge of murder of their adoptive mother. This action drama is directed by John Singleton. Co-starring Tyrese Gibson, André Benjamin and Garrett Hedlund.

The opportunity to play that kind of guy, the opportunity to make a movie that I would actually run out to go see. As opposed to a lot of movies I’ve made where if I wasn’t in it I would probably wait until I caught it on a plane or in a hotel or something. So yeah, everything about it. I just thought that this was right up my wheelhouse, and if done the right way with the right guys, this could be a very special movie.
