Lone Survivor

Wahlberg plays Marcus Luttrell, who along with his team, set out on a mission to capture the Taliban leader Ahmad Shah. who is responsible for killing over 20 United States Marines. This action drama is directed by Peter Berg. Co-stars include Taylor Kitsch, Emile Hirsch, Ben Foster and Eric Bana.

It’s the first time I’ve ever done a movie like this and I can’t compare it to any of the others I’ve made. It wasn’t about politics and it wasn’t about glorifying war, it was just showing what these soldiers do. It was a tribute to them and also to the Afghan people.
