At a junket for X-Men: Days of Future Past, Fassbender reveals that a sequel to Prometheus is a go. As of right now it is unknown who will direct the movie or when it will begin filming. The film is in talks and is slated for a 2016 release.
The actor appears on the Graham Norton Show along with co-stars Hugh Jackman & James McAvoy to promote X-Men: Day of Future Past.
The first image of Macbeth is released in the 300th issue of Empire. Taken by photographer Mary McCartney, the picture features Fassbender and Marion Cotillard as the titular warrior and his lady wife.
Fassbender is nominated for Best Supporting Actor at the 86th Academy Awards for portraying Edwin Epps in 12 Years a Slave.
