Diaz turned down Ferguson fight, will not fight this year
Diaz says he turned down a fight with Ferguson, and that he will not fight this year.
I’ve seen rumors about me and my brother fighting people but we haven’t done much talking. I think [the UFC] is trying to bring us back in but all the pressure is coming from these rumors [about who we are fighting]. I plan on sitting out this year and I’m fighting nobody. [The UFC] wants me to fight Tony Ferguson,” Diaz said. “I gladly accepted that fight and then I gladly turned it down because of circumstances. I’m all about the money. McGregor’s manager says Diaz has to get McGregor excited, if he wants to get a fight with him.

Diaz water-bottle incident penalty reduced
Diaz’s penalty for the water bottle throwing incident with McGregor during the UFC 202 press conference is reduced from $50,000 and 50 hours of community service, to $15,000 and 15 hours of community service. As Diaz has already paid the fine he will get a refund of $35,000.
McGregor ‘looking forward’ to Diaz trilogy fight
In a tweet referencing the recently-released video of his second fight against Diaz, McGregor says he is open to fighting a third time.

UFC on FOX just releases never-before-seen footage of the rematch between McGregor and Diaz at UFC 202.
$150,000 bottle-throwing fine reduced to $25,000
At a hearing in Las Vegas McGregor’s punishment for the water-bottle throwing incident before UFC 202 is reduced from $150,000 and 50 hours community service to $25,000 and 25 hours of community service, the same terms suggested by the Nevada attorney general’s office ahead of the initial hearing in October 2016. McGregor has six months to complete the community service and can do so in either Dublin or Las Vegas. The board’s chairman suggests that Nate Diaz, who was fined $50,000 and given 50 hours of community service for his part in the incident, should be reheard. NSAC executive director Bennett:
I just didn’t think [the original $150,000 fine] was fair.

Diaz: McGregor could beat Mayweather with an early strike
Diaz says McGregor can beat Mayweather if he strikes early.
I think it’s a big publicity stunt…[McGregor’s] got an amateur style, where he’s got the good movement and punches for six, eight minutes. That time equates to about two rounds out of the 10 in a full boxing match. Anybody can be good for … six, seven minutes — anybody — and they all have that puncher’s chance. But ready to go round after round and he’s gonna be a hard person to get a hold of, so it’s gonna be rough one.

White: Nate Diaz has fight offer, Nick Diaz turned down a pair
White says a fight offer has been extended to Nate Diaz, but does not say who the opponent is. White also says he’s turned down multiple fight offers. He says the Diaz brothers currently are at the top of the list in terms of struggling to put fights together, so he can’t predict when either will next be seen inside the octagon.

White: Nick Diaz turned down every fight offered by UFC
During the UFC 207 Media Scrum, White says Nick Diaz has turned down every welterweight fight offered by UFC, including a fight against McGregor. Diaz reportedly turned down the McGregor fight to keep it for his brother, Nate.
Weight debates aside, Dana White told me he's offered Nick Diaz fights at welterweight. According to White, he's turned them all down.
