Leakes appears on The View, where Behar says she was injured by her jewelry. Behar then asks Leakes about reuniting with her husband:
I love companionship, love being married…[I] had to teach him a lesson — never to cross me.
Behar also questions her friendship with Donald Trump.
I didn’t say I was voting for him, honey, I said I liked him.
Afterwards she tweets:
Just sat down with a bunch of mean girls turning up their noses, looking u up & down as if u don’t belong
She deletes the tweet shortly after.

Leakes remarries her husband Gregg Leakes on June 22nd, 2013. The wedding has an Old Hollywood Glam theme and takes place at the InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta Hotel.

I play a character called Rocky, she’s one of the gays guys secretary. She’s outspoken, she uses her boss’s credit card without his knowledge, she’s funny, she’s lovable, and I think all the viewers are going to love me in the end. I’m having a great time. I’m so proud of the cast of ‘The New Normal,’ we have great people over there. We have Ellen Barkin, Justin Bartha, and Andrew Rannells. It’s going to be a really great show.

This is not a damn black woman. This is a white woman talking in this script. Every time I read the words, I think, this is nothing I would be saying.
Leakes is looking to transform with her acting.
I always say, being on a reality show is a blessing and a curse. You get these great opportunities, but people see me as NeNe. It’s tough for them to see Coach Roz [on ‘Glee’] or Rocky.
Leakes, Leakes divorce
Leakes divorce is finalized after 13 years of marriage.
Greg and I broke up for real. I’m a mom and divorce is very hard. It’s very difficult. I was heartbroken. I would never do that for a profile. Why would I need to do that? I lived all these years as Nene Leakes, before a camera ever rolled in my house. I was married for real. I gave birth for real, to his child. I would never do that.
