Walk of Punishment

Coster-Waldau appears as Ser Jaime Lannister in the third episode of the third season of Game of Thrones, Walk of Punishment. Gwendoline Christie plays Brienne of Tarth, a female soldier loyal to Lady Catelyn Stark. In the Riverlands province of Westeros, Jaime and Brienne are held captive by soldiers allied to the Stark noble family. As the soldiers attempt to rape Brienne, Jaime convinces their leader, Locke, that she is of noble heritage and that her family will pay a ransom if she is unharmed. Jaime attempts to bribe Locke to release him, but Locke states that the Lannister family will never make a deal with sworn enemies. In order to subdue Jaime, he maims Jaime’s right hand.
