The Prince of Winterfell

Dinklage appears as Tyrion Lannister in the eighth episode of the second season, The Prince of Winterfell. Ahead of an impending attack on King’s Landing by the armies of Stannis Baratheon, a challenger to the Iron Throne, Tyrion discusses the city’s defenses with his bodyguard Bronn, played by Jerome Flynn, and spymaster Lord Varys, played by Conleth Hill. It becomes apparent that Bronn is knowledgeable and intelligent despite his lowborn status and lack of education.
