Man U 4-0 QPR
Manchester United get the first win of the season against QPR. New signings Angel Di Maria and Ander Herrera score for the team; Di Maria in the 24th and Herrera in the 36th minute. Wayne Rooney makes it three at 44 minutes. Juan Mata comes through for the home side in the 58th minute and seals the three points. QPR get a few attempts to goal but to all are denied.

McCathy signs a four-year contract with QPR from Reading. The England under-21 international has won three caps and plays the position of goalkeeper. His squad number is 12 and he has cost the club £6 million.
I’m over the moon to be back in the Premier League. When you’re growing up, all you dream about is playing in the best league in the world – I had a taste of it at Reading, but to be back here now is fantastic.
