Seacrest interviews Carell during On Air With Ryan Seacrest about his film Seeking a Friend for the End of the World.
It’s a little weird shooting something like that because no matter what you’re doing in the movie as that character, there’s that looming thing hanging over you of like, ‘Wow, this could all be over.’ You know what though? When you think about it, it’s sort of just a metaphor for life. We’re all going through it and there’s an end date for all of us. It’s kind of how you choose to live your life, so there’s really sort of a joyousness to it, I think, as well.
