The Island

In this movie directed by Micheal Bay, Bean plays Merrick a slaver who rich people pay to raise and keep their Clones in stasis when planet earth becomes unhabitable and one of the only Idyllic places still capable of sustaining life is that Island. People are chosen by lottery to live there. Co-starring Djimon Honsou, Michael Clarke, Scarlett Johansson and Ewan McGregor. About the director:

He’s a very intelligent guy, he wants to further science and help humanity by creating a different world. He’s quite sinister in some aspects, it depends how you feel about cloning but he believes in it completely and I think he believes he’s doing good.
