X-Files Appearance
LeBeouf appears in Season 7, Episode 6 of The X-Files titled, The Goldberg Variation. The young actor plays Richie Lupone, a child who has a severe liver condition that keeps him housebound. A friend, Henry Weems, resurfaces from anonymity to obtain $100,000 for a new treatment in England for Ritchie who has a very rare B-negative blood type.
Breakfast with Einstein
LaBeouf makes his acting debut in the TV feature, Breakfast with Einstein, a comedy about a a wise-cracking dog named Einstein. LaBeouf plays Joey Mueller, a young boy who befriends the dog and sneaks him into the house. Einstein wrecks havoc on the Mueller household, getting the duo in trouble with Joey’s dad, whose prized possession was smashed in the chaos. Joey gets the idea to enter Einstein in an upcoming dog show with the hopes he can prove the small dog is good for their family.
